Our Advisors

Dr. Sara Bloom

Dr. Sara Bloom is a mother of three young children and a physician specializing in maternal wellness and postpartum health. Dr. Bloom trained in Family Medicine and is certified in Integrative Medicine and Women's Health. She started her medical practice after the birth of her first son when she experienced firsthand how little support mothers received after the one 6-week postpartum follow-up. Her practice serves to fill the gap in conventional medical care to help mothers feel supported, vibrant, and beautifully empowered in their journey through motherhood. 

Julia Sarewitz

Julia Sarewitz is an educator and curriculum designer, wellness coach, and researcher specializing in matrescence - and the co-founder of Seed Mother. With an MA in Clinical Psychology focusing on Spirituality, Mind, and Body, Julia's lifelong teaching experience and role as Curriculum Designer at The Maternal & Reproductive Psychology Lab under the mentorship of Dr. Aurelie Athan, a reproductive psychologist and preeminent matrescence researcher, have provided her with invaluable insights into maternal psychology and matrescence. Drawing from her firsthand experience as a mother of two boys, Nash and Benny, Julia deeply believes in the transformative power and essential nature of education and ritual practice for supporting holistic wellness in the perinatal period.

Victoria Trinko

Victoria Trinko is a passionate maternal health educator, advocate, and researcher specializing in matrescence - and the co-founder of Seed Mother. Victoria holds an MA in Clinical Psychology, an Advanced Certificate in Maternal & Reproductive Well-Being, and has spent the last three years as a working member of The Maternal & Reproductive Psychology Lab under the mentorship of Dr. Aurelie Athan, a reproductive psychologist and preeminent matrescence researcher. With her unique blend of academic expertise, professional experience, and communication background, she has gained a profound understanding of the clinical and developmental dynamics of motherhood - as well as how to share these complex ideas effectively. Victoria is also a certified Vinyasa and Pre/Post-Natal Yoga Instructor and an adoring aunt to her nephew, Monty.
