February Inspiration from our Founder: Self Care as an Act of Self Love to Moms

February 01, 2023

February is the month of love, and what better way to channel that concept than into self-love? I see making time for self-care as a reflection of how much I value myself and the decision to treat myself with love and kindness.

I've learned a lot on my motherhood journey, but one of the most important lessons has been learning to mother myself. We often focus on mothering everyone else, but we also deserve those moments that allow us to mother ourselves. Mom life gets hectic and there are always distractions and challenges that pull us away from taking care of ourselves, but I truly believe that dedicating just 5 minutes to doing something that makes you feel good can set the tone for the rest of the day. And with time, it can become a habit that we carry with us throughout motherhood. This is the message we share with our products; more than skincare, they are a daily reminder of your decision and commitment to prioritize your needs.

Let's be real, we all want to give our best to our families, but we can't give what we don't have. Self-care is not a luxury, it's a necessity. So let's make sure to fill our own cups first.

Sending you all the strength and support you need to prioritize yourself this and every month.

xo,

Raquel
