January Inspiration from our Founder: Rituals Over Resolutions for the New Year

And just like that, we've survived another year and we're ringing in 2023! A time to reflect, reset and refine. I have always thought New Year's resolutions to be a tad restrictive and opt to reframe them as intentions instead, leaving space for them to evolve throughout the year. I usually look at my current rituals to see what needs more support or focus and decide what I want more or less of for the year.

My rituals mean so much to me, they bring clarity, build sustainable habits and help me feel grounded as I embrace the changes and challenges that come.

This year my intention is GROWTH.

Growth in my personal life: doing more of what would typically make me uncomfortable. Watching my girls reach new milestones and embracing how that will challenge me as a mother. Growth in our Motherhood Refined community: as we develop greater partnerships and provide more products and resources that will support you. Growth in our Matrescence team: behind the scenes, we've expanded our all-mom team and I am grateful to be entering the new year with a group that is passionate and committed to our mission of supporting and empowering other moms to embrace this new season of their motherhood journey.

Resolutions or intentions, like parenting there is no right or wrong, and whatever you decide, it's more about the journey and we're honored to be a part of yours.
