What's the difference between an essence and a toner, and do you really need an essence in your skincare routine as a mama?
While an essence is similar to a toner, there are some differences.
A toner is a liquid product primarily used to balance the skin's pH level after cleansing. It helps remove residual impurities or traces of cleanser. It also prepares the skin for better absorption of subsequent skincare products. Some toners can also provide additional benefits like hydration or soothing effects.
An essence on the other hand, adds instant and deeper hydration and preps the skin to properly absorb your other treatments. It is designed to deliver active ingredients deep into the skin to address specific concerns such as brightening, anti-aging, or soothing. This can be especially important for pregnancy or postpartum, when dry and dehydrated skin are common.
Our Rose Glow Brightening Essence is a super-charged, hydrating solution, with nourishing ingredients that can prevent water and nutrient loss. It operates like a lightweight serum, and is packed full of vitamins and antioxidants. It also will give a gentle exfoliation to your skin and is always pregnancy and breastfeeding safe.
Apply the Essence after cleansing with the Rose Glow Purifying Cleanser, making sure you apply on clean, damp skin. Press, don't rub into your skin and apply evenly. Allow it to fully absorb, and then follow with the Rose Glow Brilliance Protection Souffle.
This Brightening Essence is the skincare step you’ve been missing for visible brightening, glow, and hydration during your pregnancy and postpartum journey!
